Junior Accountant

Our client is a growing consumer services company with solid benefits that provides an opportunity to grow. They have acquired multiple smaller organizations recently to provide stability. They possess strong leadership team to lead and mentor employees. Their team is now looking for a Junior Accountant.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$60k

Position Overview:

The Junior Accountant will handle mostly Bank Reconciliations and vendor management. The successful candidate will be fully in charge of all Company’s bank reconciliations including follow up and clearing of all outstanding items. 

Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:

• Intensive Daily Bank reconciliation for multiple locations.
• GL Reconciliation.
• Manage incoming invoices.
• Identification resolution of discrepancies in accounts.
• Follow-up of suspense accounts.
• High volume of reconciliations of bank statements.

Required Experience/Skills for the Junior Accountant:

• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• 1 year of Accounting experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Junior Accountant:

• 2 years of bank reconciliations or bookkeeping.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work on a team.

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s degree for Junior Accountant.
