Our client, a national non-profit housing developer, is seeking Community Managers at various locations across the country.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$60k
Position Overview:
The Community Manager will be responsible for managing all day to day operations of the housing communities. They will manage tenant relations, liaising with maintenance, and ensuring the residents consistently have positive living conditions.
Responsibilities of the Community Manager:
- Supervise daily property operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and orderliness.
- Ensure the community adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and submit reporting related to program compliance, financial performance, and occupancy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional matter.
Required Experience/Skills for the Community Manager:
- At least 5-10 years of experience in property management, specifically in affordable housing or HUD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage budgets, track expenses, and generate financial reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office and property management software.
- COS or Housing Choice Voucher Program (either is required).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
