With a strong international presence and continued expansion, they’re now hiring a Part-Time Office Events Coordinator for their Redwood City office.

Position Overview:

The Part-Time Office Events Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for designing, planning, and executing creative and engaging events that foster a positive workplace culture and strengthen employee connections. This role will oversee all aspects of in-office social activities, including catered lunches, happy hours, themed weeks, team-building activities, and special celebrations. The coordinator will collaborate with leadership, internal teams, and outside vendors to ensure seamless event execution and memorable experiences for employees.

Responsibilities of the Part-Time Office Events Coordinator:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute office events such as catered lunches, happy hours, holiday celebrations, themed weeks, and employee appreciation activities.
  • Develop creative event concepts aligned with company culture and seasonal themes to encourage participation and engagement.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors including caterers, venues, entertainment providers, and décor suppliers.
  • Handle event logistics including ordering food and supplies, coordinating deliveries, setting up and breaking down event spaces, and ensuring cleanliness post-event.
  • Create and distribute event communications such as invitations, calendars, and reminders.
  • Gather employee feedback to continuously improve event quality, variety, and participation.

Required Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Office Events Coordinator:

  • 1 – 3+ years of experience in event planning or office coordination.
  • Experience working with outside vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Office Events Coordinator:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh, engaging event ideas.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
