Currently, they are looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$110k – $140k plus 10% Bonus
Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and supporting financial reporting for the global business. This position is best suited for an Accounting Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional services environment. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Global Controller and will manage a small team of accounting professionals.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
- Lead and manage the general ledger close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor a team of staff accountants, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other core accounting functions.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following U.S. GAAP.
- Collaborate with Auditors, Tax Advisors, and other external partners during audit and compliance processes.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
- Partner with leadership on process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the month-end close and preparing financial statements.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounting Manager:
- Combination of public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm) and private industry experience.
- Experience in professional services or global organization environments.
- Strong ERP system skills.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- CPA is strongly preferred.
