Up to $85k based on experience

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support and lead various IT projects. The ideal candidate will have 3 -5 years of experience, expertise in Microsoft Intune and Ninja One platforms, and a strong background in 365 Security. This role requires hands-on experience with Windows and macOS systems, mobile network setup, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities of the Senior Desktop Support Engineer:

• Provide exceptional technical assistance for Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems promptly and professionally.
• Oversee and manage desktop imaging, deployment, and patching processes through Microsoft Intune and Ninja One platforms.
• Administer and manage Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account provisioning.
• Lead and coordinate desktop support initiatives, including hardware refreshes and software deployments.
• Document and maintain procedures, solutions, and best practices in the internal knowledge base.
• Mentor and guide junior support staff, providing escalation support as required.
• Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols.
• Install, relocate, configure, and customize workstations for temporary employees during fairs.
• Perform additional duties related to the job as necessary.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Desktop Support Engineer:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Intune and Ninja One platforms.
• Hands-on experience with 365 Security.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and macOS systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Desktop Support Engineer:

• 3 – 5 years of experience with mobile network set-up.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in IT is preferred.
