Salary/Hourly Rate:
$110k – $140k
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Finance to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in finance, preferably within the healthcare industry. This is a direct hire position that requires the candidate to work fully onsite in Lakeland, FL.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Finance:
- Assist the Director of Finance in managing the financial operations of the organization.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance.
- Manage and mentor the finance team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Required Experience/Skills for the Assistant Director of Finance:
- CPA certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Assistant Director of Finance:
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience with financial management in a large organization.
- Familiarity with healthcare financial practices and regulations.
- Experience with Sage software.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification is mandatory.
- Advanced degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
