Salary/Hourly Rate:

$110k – $140k

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Finance to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in finance, preferably within the healthcare industry. This is a direct hire position that requires the candidate to work fully onsite in Lakeland, FL.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Finance:

• Assist the Director of Finance in managing the financial operations of the organization.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance.
• Manage and mentor the finance team to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Assistant Director of Finance:

• CPA certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Assistant Director of Finance:

• Prior experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience with financial management in a large organization.
• Familiarity with healthcare financial practices and regulations.
• Experience with Sage software.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• Advanced degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
