Client Overview:
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk I to work on their Finance team out of the Pembroke Pines, FL office.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$18/hr – $20/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk I who will take charge of auditing invoices for payment. In addition, the Accounts Payable Clerk I will maintain monthly Excel spreadsheets and statements from vendors.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk I:
- Assists with filing paid vendor invoices.
- Assists with the matching, mailing, and filing of weekly checks.
- Assists in opening the daily mail.
- Manages the accounts payable e-mail.
- Assists in researching discrepancies in account records.
- Operates a calculator, adding machine, computer, printer, photocopier, or facsimile machine.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accounts Payable Clerk I:
- 3+ months of any accounting or finance experience. Internships would work.
- Strong Excel Skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounts Payable Clerk I:
- ERP software experience.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Open to candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
