Client Overview:
Our client is a growing organization seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support their financial planning and analysis processes.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$45/hr
Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst will manage and reconcile financial forecasts, automate reporting processes, and maintain the organization’s data warehouse and dashboards. This role involves analyzing large financial datasets, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems. The ideal candidate has strong FP&A expertise, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Python or SQL.
Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
- Reconcile manual financial forecasts and models to automated forecasts in internal systems and dashboards.
- Maintain and manage the company’s data warehouse and financial modeling processes.
- Analyze large volumes of financial data and identify trends to support management decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and collaborate with management to produce accurate forecasts.
- Support automation of financial reporting processes, integrating multiple data sources into dashboards.
- Prepare financial reports and metrics for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Participate in training and certification for internal financial systems as needed.
- Handle ad hoc financial projects and assist with system improvements.
Required Experience/Skills for the Financial Analyst:
- 3+ years of technical FP&A experience with financial data management.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling).
- Experience with Python or SQL.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Financial Analyst:
- Experience with backend financial modeling.
- Familiarity with automated financial reporting systems and dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
- Interest in owning forecasting processes and data management.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
