Our client is a midsize manufacturing company, and they are now looking for an Office Administrator.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$65k – $80k

Position Overvie:

The Office Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office while providing high-level administrative support to leadership and staff. This position is responsible for managing office functions, coordinating administrative processes, and serving as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal Office Administrator is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Office Administrator:

  • Oversee general office operations, including supplies, equipment, and vendor management.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for executives or team members.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for phone calls, visitors, and inquiries, ensuring a professional and welcoming office environment.
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize both electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Support HR and finance functions, such as onboarding, timesheets, expense reporting, and invoice processing.
  • Coordinate company meetings, events, and team-building activities.
  • Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide general administrative support to staff and executives as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Office Administrator:

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar productivity tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
