Client Overview:

Our client is a premier community running organization, hosting many events throughout the year. They are mission-driven with a dedicated team of members, donors, staff, and volunteers who work year-round to make each event and race possible and impactful. They are currently looking to add a Part-Time Warehouse/Inventory Temp to their team. The Part-Time Warehouse/Inventory Temp will help support with shipping and logistics of race/expo materials during their peak season.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

The Part-Time Warehouse/Inventory Temp will support the team with daily inventory functions. This hands-on position supports tasks such as auditing, labeling, sorting, kitting, replenishment, and event preparation. Daily projects and tasks support warehouse execution, accuracy, and team alignment within a highly collaborative environment focused on process excellence and operational readiness for large-scale event execution. The Part-Time Warehouse/Inventory Temp role is part-time seasonal, from October through December, to support the busy season, anticipated 24 – 32 hours weekly during standard business hours.

Responsibilities of the Part-Time Warehouse/Inventory Temp:

• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and storage bin reviews.
• Assist in labeling, sorting, and location maintenance of incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Prepare physical zones for receiving, stocking, and pick/pack activities.
• Assist in loadout support and return shipment processing post-event.
• Use handheld scanners, PDAs, and WMS tools to complete tasks and log stock movements.

Required Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Warehouse/Inventory Temp:

• 3 – 6 months of retail or inventory experience.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Tech-savvy and experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to operate pallet jacks, carts, and dollies and to load and offload a truck using a liftgate.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to walk, bend, squat, twist, and lift without assistance.
• Must be able to work in all-season conditions (weather gear is provided).

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Part-Time Warehouse/Inventory Temp:

• 3 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic WMS tools, handheld scanners, or PDAs.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
