Client Overview:
Our client is a well-established, family-owned distribution company that has built a strong reputation for quality products, efficient delivery, and exceptional customer service. They are now looking for a Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$18/hr
Position Overview:
The Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative will handle inbound calls from existing customers, process orders, manage accounts, and help onboard new clients. The ideal Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative is personable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something new.
Responsibilities of the Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative:
- Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries and orders.
- Manage regular customer accounts while onboarding new clients.
- Enter and track orders using ERP software.
- Collaborate with the sales team and warehouse to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with long-term customers.
Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service.
- Industry experience in plumbing, HVAC, construction, manufacturing, or distribution is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a small, friendly office culture.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma.
