Client Overview:

Our client is a well-established, family-owned distribution company that has built a strong reputation for quality products, efficient delivery, and exceptional customer service. They are now looking for a Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr

Position Overview:

The Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative will handle inbound calls from existing customers, process orders, manage accounts, and help onboard new clients. The ideal Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative is personable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something new.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative:

• Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries and orders.
• Manage regular customer accounts while onboarding new clients.
• Enter and track orders using ERP software.
• Collaborate with the sales team and warehouse to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with long-term customers.

Required Experience/Skills for the Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative:

• 1 – 3 years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service.
• Industry experience in plumbing, HVAC, construction, manufacturing, or distribution is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a small, friendly office culture.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma.
