Salary/Hourly Rate:


$23/hr – $27/hr (Temp-to-Perm, Depending on experience and Excel expertise)

Position Overview:


As a Financial Coordinator, you will do more than process invoices and track budgets. You will ensure the company’s financial engine runs smoothly. From managing purchase orders to analyzing freight and operational data, you will keep the team informed, efficient, and always ahead of the game.

Responsibilities of the Financial Coordinator:


  • Create, track, and distribute POs for supplier invoices.

  • Monitor open/closed POs and analyze their impact on budgets.

  • Prepare monthly files for accrual calculations.

  • Communicate across teams to ensure invoices match budgets and POs.

  • Analyze data using Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot).

  • Support budget tracking and basic accounting functions.

  • Assist with ad hoc finance projects as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Financial Coordinator:


  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.

  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.

  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Financial Coordinator:


  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or freight finance.

  • Familiarity with corporate budgeting and accrual processes.

  • Previous exposure to finance operations in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
