Our client, a fast-growing fashion brand, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freelance Production Coordinator to join their team. This role is essential in supporting the production calendar, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality apparel. Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a Freelance Production Coordinator to oversee and support the end-to-end production process across multiple apparel categories. This role involves managing timelines, tracking orders, communicating with vendors, and ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities of the Freelance Production Coordinator:

  • Coordinate daily production operations from development through delivery across categories such as knits, wovens, and outerwear.
  • Track production timelines to ensure on-time deliveries and proactively flag potential delays.
  • Communicate directly with domestic and international vendors to monitor production progress and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate WIP reports, POs, and production trackers.
  • Support fit sessions by preparing samples and tracking comments/approvals.
  • Collaborate with Design, Tech, and Logistics teams to align on calendar milestones and product status.
  • Conduct quality checks and assist with QC processes as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and vendor performance optimization.

Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Production Coordinator:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in apparel production or product development.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end production lifecycle.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PLM.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Freelance Production Coordinator:

  • Experience working with both domestic and international vendors.
  • Familiarity with multiple apparel categories and fit session processes.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Production is required.
