Our client is a commercial real estate company in Bergen County with a great culture and tons of growth opportunities. They are seeking a Senior Lease Administrator to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$80k – $95k
Position Overview:
The Senior Lease Administrator will review lease contracts to ensure they are accurate and meet all the required terms.
Responsibilities of the Senior Lease Administrator:
- Oversee and review tenant-related financial activity, including lease changes, billing adjustments, and recurring or special charges such as rent, utilities, and tax reconciliations.
- The Senior Lease Administrator will collaborate closely with offshore and internal teams to ensure billing accuracy, adherence to monthly deadlines, and timely completion of all review processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for tenant inquiries and coordinate with collections to resolve outstanding balances or billing discrepancies.
- Partner with management to define procedures for special projects, conduct pilot reviews, and ensure consistent application of accounting standards.
- The Senior Lease Administrator will exercise strong analytical judgment while communicating effectively with leasing, property operations, and other departments to support ongoing tenant and portfolio needs.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Lease Administrator:
- 2 – 3 years of progressive real estate leasing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with CAM and TAX reconciliations.
- Experience with either MRI or Yardi.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
