Client Overview:
Our client is a well-established organization in the healthcare and communications industry, focused on delivering innovative solutions and supporting professional growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. They are currently seeking a Billing and Contracts Analyst.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$28/hr
Position Overview:
The Billing and Contracts Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for managing client contracts within the organization’s ERP system. This role bridges finance, sales, and operations to ensure that billing schedules, revenue terms, and contract details are accurate and compliant. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable in a high-volume environment, and able to communicate effectively across departments.
Responsibilities of the Billing and Contracts Analyst:
- Accurately enter and configure client contracts within the ERP system, ensuring all terms and billing details are correct.
- Maintain and update contract records, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Partner with finance, sales, and legal teams to align contract terms with billing and revenue recognition schedules.
- Monitor contract compliance and ensure all agreements meet company and regulatory standards.
- Generate and analyze reports related to contract activity, billing accuracy, and performance metrics.
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to improve contract workflows and automation.
- Provide training and act as a resource for ERP-related contract management inquiries.
- Participate in projects related to system upgrades or process enhancements.
Required Experience/Skills for the Billing and Contracts Analyst:
- 3+ years of experience in contract management, financial operations, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and reporting).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across finance, sales, and legal.
- Proven ability to manage large volumes of data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Billing and Contracts Analyst:
- Hands-on experience with Workday or Salesforce.
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Familiarity with contract law and compliance practices.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field required.
