Our client is a regional air service provider that operates commuter flights connecting small communities with larger travel hubs. They are now looking for a Recruitment Assistant.

$23/hr

Position Overview:

The Recruitment Assistant will oversee the full recruitment cycle for a variety of positions across the organization. Responsibilities include posting jobs, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting the onboarding process. This role serves as a primary point of contact for both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the Recruitment Assistant:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across operations, accounting, IT, customer service, and management teams.
  • Process requisitions, secure approvals, and post job openings.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to identify strong fit and alignment.
  • Participate in job fairs and community recruiting events.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure a consistent and efficient hiring process.
  • Extend offers, prepare offer letters, and communicate final decisions to applicants.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire setup and badge processing.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records.
  • Share information with candidates regarding company culture, benefits, and compensation.
  • Build relationships with universities, technical programs, and workforce organizations.
  • Stay current on employment laws, HR policies, and recruiting best practices.
  • Assist with general HR support and special projects as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Recruitment Assistant:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience in a corporate setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Customer service-oriented approach with professional communication style.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Recruitment Assistant:

  • HR and/or recruiting coordination experience strongly preferred.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience.
  • Prior experience attending job fairs and community outreach events.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR processes.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
