Salary/Hourly Rate:

$95k – $115k Annually (Depending on experience)

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in all aspects of external financial reporting, including the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K). As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with FP&A, Tax, and Corporate Accounting teams to analyze financial data and maintain reporting consistency across entities. This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving process improvements within a public company reporting structure. The Senior Accountant will also assist in audit coordination, technical accounting research, and preparation of supporting schedules for management review. This opportunity allows the Senior Accountant to directly contribute to the company’s overall transparency and compliance posture.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant: 

  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and SOX requirements.
  • Assist the team in drafting footnote disclosures and MD&A sections.
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual external audits and provide supporting documentation.
  • Perform variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Treasury to align external reporting with internal financial results.
  • Support the Senior Accountant function through accounting research and technical memos.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in reporting and close cycles.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant: 

  • 3 – 6 years of accounting experience with exposure to SEC reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
  • Hands-on experience supporting or preparing 10-Q and 10-K filings.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

  • Public accounting background. 
  • CPA or active CPA candidacy.
  • Experience with XBRL tagging and Workiva/Wdesk.
  • Prior experience in a public company environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • CPA is strongly preferred.
