Client Overview:
Our client is a well-known fashion company that needs a Temp Cold Weather Designer to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr – $35/hr
Position Overview:
For the Temp Cold Weather Designer role, our client is looking for someone to support the Design Director with designing the women’s cold-weather lines. The ideal candidate should have experience in women’s soft accessories/cold weather design – scarves, socks, hats, gloves, etc.
Responsibilities of the Temp Cold Weather Designer:
- Sketch detailed computer flats.
- Spec garments, create specs, etc.
- Communicate with vendors.
- Design presentation boards, color cads, etc.
Required Experience/Skills for the Temp Cold Weather Designer:
- Must have 5 years of experience in women’s cold-weather design.
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
