Our client is a rapidly growing HealthTech organization revolutionizing how people access medical care. Their platform integrates diagnostics, consultations, and prescriptions into one seamless experience, with plans to scale into new markets and achieve major milestones in the next 12 – 24 months. They are currently looking to add a Head of FP&A to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Up to $170k (Depending on experience)

Position Overview:

The Head of FP&A will lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners with senior leadership to shape financial strategy, ensure compliance with SEC and GAAP standards, and maintain financial discipline in a high-growth, public company environment.

Responsibilities of the Head of FP&A:

  • Lead annual operating plans, long-term financial planning, rolling forecasts, and budgeting processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for performance evaluation and scenario planning.
  • Partner with senior leaders to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare board materials, investor updates, and support capital planning and fundraising activities.

Required Experience/Skills for the Head of FP&A:

  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis expertise.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and executive-level storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in FP&A systems, ERP platforms, and BI tools.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Head of FP&A:

  • Prior experience supporting board-level reporting and investor relations.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience in high-growth operating environments.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and financial systems (e.g., QBO, NetSuite).
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executive teams on strategic financial discussions.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • MBA or a relevant advanced degree is preferred.
