Client Overview:

Our client is a rapidly growing casual dining restaurant brand with locations across the United States. Known for great food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere, we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while expanding our footprint nationwide. They are now looking for a Paralegal.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$45/hr – $55/hr

Position Overview:

The Paralegal will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to the Real Estate and Corporate Legal teams. This role will focus on lease administration, liquor licensing, corporate governance, litigation support, and risk management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Paralegal:

  • Draft, review, and maintain real estate documents, including leases and amendments.
  • Manage liquor license applications, renewals, and compliance for new and existing locations.
  • Conduct lease audits and track critical dates for property management.
  • Prepare and file corporate governance documents, including officer changes and annual reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile attorney invoices and outside counsel billing spreadsheets.
  • Respond to subpoenas and assist with litigation matters, including ADA and employment cases.
  • Track and monitor administrative complaints, violations, and liquor bonds.
  • Coordinate fingerprinting, background checks, and licensing for managers and officers.
  • Provide risk management support, including incident tracking and insurance certificates.
  • Handle mail distribution, subscriptions, and general legal administrative tasks.

Required Experience/Skills for the Paralegal:

  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in real estate or corporate law.
  • Strong understanding of lease agreements, liquor licensing, and corporate governance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Paralegal:

  • Experience in hospitality or multi-unit restaurant operations.
  • Familiarity with multi-state liquor licensing and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of litigation processes and risk management practices.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certification preferred.
