Client Overview:
Our client, a highly respected and established law firm known for its complex litigation and corporate practice areas, is seeking a polished and experienced Executive Assistant to support senior legal partners. Salary/Hourly Rate:
$90k – $95k
Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant will serve as a key partner to senior attorneys and firm leadership, providing proactive scheduling, managing confidential communications, and maintaining operational excellence across the practice. The ideal Executive Assistant has strong experience in legal or professional services, is exceptionally organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Provide daily executive-level support to partners and legal leadership.
- Manage calendars, prioritize appointments, and schedule meetings with internal and external contacts.
- Draft and handle confidential communications, legal correspondence, and administrative filings.
- Coordinate domestic travel arrangements and detailed itineraries.
- Prepare and edit legal presentations, filings, and internal reports.
- Serve as liaison between attorneys and clients, vendors, or court officials with discretion and professionalism.
- Track litigation or case-related deadlines and assist with internal project management.
- Process expense reimbursements and maintain billing records for partners.
- Support firm events, meetings, and internal coordination among practice groups.
- Anticipate needs and provide high-touch support in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience in a law firm, legal department, or professional services environment.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information and operate in a high-stakes setting.
- Strong calendar management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently while managing shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- Experience supporting litigation or corporate practice areas.
- Familiarity with legal billing platforms or document management systems.
- Prior interaction with high-profile clients, legal vendors, or court systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple senior stakeholders simultaneously.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
