Position Overview:
Atrium is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects. This role requires a combination of strong project management abilities and a thorough technical understanding of software development, infrastructure, and integration processes. This role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in Atrium’s Atlanta-based office.
Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager:
- Lead cross-functional teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, starting with requirements gathering and continuing through post-launch evaluation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to define the project’s scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, and resource plans.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests to support timely and successful project delivery.
- Facilitate technical discussions and maintain clear communication among developers, SMEs, and technology leaders.
- Prepare regular project status reports and present them to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Promote process improvements and apply best practices, particularly in Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to manage third-party integrations or service dependencies.
Required Experience/Skills for the Technical Project Manager:
- At least 3 years of project management experience in technology or software development environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often with competing priorities.
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), as well as Agile practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, including AWS or Azure.
- Experience working with RPA and low-code/no-code technologies.
- Background in API integration or cybersecurity projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
