Our client is a manufacturing company seeking to hire a Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift) to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr – $25/hr + Night differential and OT eligible
Position Overview:
The Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift) will be responsible for plating fabrication and production analysis through wet chemistry techniques (titration). They will perform basic chemical analyses, maintain lab safety, and contribute to special projects. The Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift) will enter results into the system and ensure compliance with quality standards supporting the Wet Chemistry department. The Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift) will work a schedule that is from 12 am to 8 am.
Responsibilities of the Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift):
- Perform basic chemical analysis techniques, including titration, ICP, AA, and UV-VIS.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as Auto-Titration, CVS, ICP, and UV-VIS.
- Enter analytical results into the software.
- Maintain and enforce laboratory safety policies and procedures.
- Support plating fabrication, production analysis, and special projects.
- Self-inspect work for quality and accuracy.
- Document and record information in electronic and written formats.
- Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications 34.
Required Experience/Skills for the Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift):
- Minimum of 1+ years of laboratory experience.
- Hands-on experience with titration analysis, ICP or AA, and UV-VIS.
- Experience in titration techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and maintenance.
- High attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to self-inspect for quality and accuracy 3.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Laboratory Technician (3rd Shift):
- Experience supporting plating fabrication or production analysis.
- Familiarity with laboratory software (TrueChem).
- Experience in a manufacturing or production laboratory environment.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
