They are seeking a Senior Manager (Indirect Procurement & IT Supply Chain Management) to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$145k plus annual performance bonus

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager (Indirect Procurement & IT Supply Chain Management) is responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives across indirect spend categories, with a strong emphasis on Information Technology, digital services, software, telecom, and professional services. This role partners closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and senior business leaders to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate complex agreements, manage supplier performance, and drive cost optimization while supporting enterprise technology and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manager (Indirect Procurement & IT Supply Chain Management):

  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing for indirect spend, with primary focus on IT hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services, cybersecurity, telecom, and IT professional services.
  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business and IT roadmaps.
  • Partner with IT leadership to understand technical requirements, demand planning, and vendor selection criteria.
  • Conduct spend analysis, market intelligence, and benchmarking to identify cost savings and value-creation opportunities.
  • Lead complex negotiations for multi-year IT and indirect contracts, including licensing, renewals, and managed services.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, SLAs, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Legal on contract governance, compliance, and budgeting.
  • Support enterprise initiatives related to supplier diversity, sustainability, and digital transformation.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting, sourcing analytics, and presentations.
  • Mentor and guide sourcing team members as applicable.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Manager (Indirect Procurement & IT Supply Chain Management):

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in indirect procurement or strategic sourcing, with significant focus on IT sourcing.
  • Proven experience managing IT and technology-related spend, including software, SaaS, telecom, cloud, and professional services.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience handling high-value, complex IT contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with IT, Finance, Legal, and senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including spend analysis and total cost of ownership modeling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement/e-sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer).
  • Excellent communication, project management, and influencing skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Manager (Indirect Procurement & IT Supply Chain Management):

  • Experience supporting enterprise-level IT transformations or digital initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SaaS licensing models, cloud services, and cybersecurity vendors.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or C.P.M.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.
