Client Overview:

Our client is a well-known restaurant chain located in Orlando, FL. They are looking to add a POS Systems Analyst to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$40/hr – $50/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a POS Systems Analyst for a contract role until the end of the year. This person will serve as a liaison between the IT Department and Restaurant Operations teams, provide escalation support to technology vendors for Aloha POS systems, and deliver technical and operational guidance for new POS features and enhancements.

Responsibilities of the POS Systems Analyst:

• Manage administrative functions of the Aloha Point-of-Sale (POS) system and Kitchen Display System (KDS).
• Oversee administrative functions of mobile technology integrated with the Aloha POS system.
• Manage administrative functions of the POS platform.
• Create and maintain comprehensive POS and KDS documentation.
• Coordinate menu and pricing updates across all systems.
• Test POS and KDS systems following the release of patches or system modifications.
• Collaborate with the IT team and escalate issues as needed to ensure POS and KDS system maintenance objectives are met.
• Coordinate third-party integrations with POS and KDS systems.
• Conduct quality assurance (QA) and regression testing on POS software and integrated third-party platforms.
• Serve as escalation resource for the IT Service Desk Team.
• Troubleshoot restaurant technology issues.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and consulting with vendors and internal departments on POS and KDS enhancements.
• Maintain current knowledge of new and enhanced POS and KDS features.

Required Experience/Skills for the POS Systems Analyst:

• Minimum 3+ years of restaurant and/or restaurant technology experience.
• Strong knowledge of Aloha POS configuration and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of KDS systems configuration and maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with POS payment platforms.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
