Client Overview:

Our client is a global real estate investment, development, and operating firm headquartered in a prominent New York City landmark. The company develops, owns, and manages premier office, residential, and mixed-use properties in major cities worldwide, known for high-quality design, operations, and workplace environments. They are seeking an exceptionally polished Corporate Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact at the firm’s global headquarters.

Position Overview:

This Corporate Receptionist role represents the highest level of reception within the organization and requires an individual who embodies professionalism, hospitality, and discretion at all times. The receptionist will manage the front desk experience with a luxury hospitality mindset, similar to service standards found in top-tier hotels. This person will greet all visitors and employees with a warm, welcoming presence, ensuring every guest receives a professional and seamless arrival experience. The role demands a highly polished individual who dresses and communicates at the highest professional standard, maintains strong situational awareness, and delivers exceptional service while supporting executive-level operations.

Responsibilities of the Corporate Receptionist:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, greeting all visitors and employees with a warm smile and highly professional demeanor.
  • Create a welcoming and polished arrival experience for executives, clients, and guests entering the headquarters.
  • Maintain a hospitality-focused approach to reception, ensuring visitors feel comfortable and well taken care of.
  • Manage the reception desk and front-of-house area, ensuring it remains organized, professional, and presentation-ready at all times.
  • Coordinate visitor check-ins, security procedures, and guest notifications.
  • Handle coat check services and assist guests with arrival logistics when necessary.
  • Coordinate beverage service for meetings and visiting guests.
  • Assist with preparing conference rooms and welcoming meeting attendees.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure meetings run smoothly and guests are properly accommodated.
  • Manage conference room scheduling through Microsoft Outlook, ensuring accurate booking and coordination across teams.
  • Monitor meeting room availability and assist with scheduling adjustments when necessary.
  • Maintain an exceptionally polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Communicate with executives, clients, and visitors using formal and respectful language.
  • Demonstrate strong social awareness and discretion when interacting with senior leadership and external guests.

Required Experience/Skills for the Corporate Receptionist:

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in corporate reception, hospitality, or high-end front desk environments.
  • Experience supporting executive-level offices, luxury hospitality environments, or professional services firms strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for calendar and conference room scheduling.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm, polished, and professional in a high-visibility role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a welcoming front-of-house presence.
  • Professional attire and presentation are required at all times.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Corporate Receptionist:

  • Experience in luxury hospitality or high-profile corporate environments.
  • Familiarity with security and visitor management protocols.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
