Client Overview:

Our client, a property management organization overseeing affordable housing communities, is seeking an experienced Administrative Leasing Coordinator to support leasing and compliance operations. This role requires direct LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) experience, as the position will assist with administrative and documentation tasks tied to regulated affordable housing programs.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr – $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Administrative Leasing Coordinator will provide day-to-day administrative support to the leasing and compliance team at an affordable housing property located in Far Rockaway, Queens. This individual will assist with organizing compliance documentation, maintaining records, and supporting leasing operations while ensuring files meet LIHTC regulatory standards. The role requires strong attention to detail and prior hands-on experience working within LIHTC housing programs.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Leasing Coordinator:

  • Provide administrative support to the Leasing and Compliance teams.
  • Maintain and organize leasing and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and document preparation.
  • Enter and update applicant and tenant information through data entry.
  • Support the leasing office with compliance-related administrative tasks.
  • Ensure documentation is organized and maintained according to LIHTC standards.
  • Assist with general office tasks to support property operations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Administrative Leasing Coordinator:

  • Direct experience working with LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is required.
  • Prior experience supporting Affordable Housing Leasing or Compliance teams.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills.
  • Experience with filing systems, scanning, and data entry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Far Rockaway, Queens.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Administrative Leasing Coordinator:

  • Background in property management or affordable housing administration.
  • Familiarity with leasing documentation and compliance processes.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
