$16/hr

Position Overview:

The Lab Technician (Cosmetics) is responsible for supporting product formulation and testing through proper laboratory practices and procedures. This role involves executing stability protocols, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to standard operating procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a structured lab environment.

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician (Cosmetics):

• Perform laboratory practices and procedures for product formulation and testing.
• Follow product stability protocols and monitor ongoing studies.
• Maintain, validate, monitor, and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
• Collect, analyze, and document experimental data.
• Prepare reports and communicate test progress and results to leadership.
• Ensure accurate and compliant record-keeping to maintain data integrity.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks consistently and professionally.

Required Experience/Skills of the Lab Technician (Cosmetics):

• Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments.
• Strong adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to collect reliable and accurate data.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills of the Lab Technician (Cosmetics):

• Previous laboratory experience in a professional setting.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field is required.
• Recent graduates within the past 3 – 5 years are preferred.
• A Chemistry degree is strongly preferred.
