Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22/hr – $24/hr
Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper will manage financial records, process a high volume of invoices, and ensure accurate accounting using Yardi.
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
- Process, classify, and record numerical data for financial records.
- Handle several hundred invoices monthly with precision.
- Apply knowledge of debits and credits to maintain accurate ledgers.
- Reconcile accounts and report discrepancies.
- Operate Yardi software for accounting and data management.
- Prepare bank deposits and manage cash receipts.
- Compile financial statements and reports.
- Perform general office duties such as filing and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Required Experience/Skills for the Bookkeeper:
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in debits and credits.
- Experience processing high volumes of invoices.
- Advanced Yardi software skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Bookkeeper:
- Experience with other accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP).
- Familiarity with compliance and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills for team interaction.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
