Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on fundraising and development initiatives, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support senior leadership. This organization operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking for an Executive Assistant who understands the nuances of nonprofit operations, donor relations, and development work.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40/hr – $45/hr
Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to leadership, helping manage schedules, communications, and day-to-day operations. This role requires prior nonprofit experience, ideally within fundraising or development teams, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Provide comprehensive executive support to senior leadership.
- Manage complex calendars, meetings, and shifting priorities.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including donor and stakeholder engagements.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence related to fundraising and development initiatives.
- Assist with event coordination, fundraising activities, and donor communications.
- Track deadlines, manage follow-ups, and support ongoing projects.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership, internal teams, and external partners.
- Maintain confidential information and donor data with discretion.
Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- 3 – 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience in a nonprofit environment is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Professional, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- Experience supporting fundraising, development, or donor relations teams is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting C-level executives or senior nonprofit leadership.
- Familiarity with donor databases or CRM systems (Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, etc.).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
