They are currently looking to bring on a Temporary Receptionist.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr – $20/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Temporary Receptionist for a short-term, 3-day assignment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and basic administrative support.

Responsibilities of the Temporary Receptionist:

  • Greet and direct visitors courteously and professionally.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls.
  • Take accurate messages and ensure timely delivery to the appropriate staff.
  • Manage visitor sign-in/sign-out and issue visitor badges as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Provide basic administrative support (e.g., filing, data entry, copying, scanning).
  • Coordinate with internal staff to support daily office operations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Temporary Receptionist:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, calendar).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to all three days of the assignment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Temporary Receptionist:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk associate, or in a customer-facing role is preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required.
