Client Overview:

Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team, on a contract basis, covering a leave of absence. They are a tech company, known for their commitment to operational excellence. 

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support by managing the front desk, assisting customers, and maintaining office operations.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:

  • The Administrative Assistant will greet and assist in-person customers at the front desk.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Respond to email correspondence with accuracy and courtesy.
  • Schedule meetings and manage staff calendars.
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the workspace is well-stocked.
  • Support general office operations and assist with clerical tasks.

Required Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:

  • Experience in a front desk or administrative assistant role.
  • Professional communication skills, especially over email.
  • Comfortable handling phone calls and customer inquiries.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and reliability.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Administrative Assistant:

  • Familiarity with scheduling software or calendar management tools.
  • Experience in customer service or office support.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
