Salary/Hourly Rate:

$58k – $68k Annually, Depending on experience

Position Overview:

The Accountant plays a key role in supporting accounting functions across multiple locations. This is an excellent position for candidates looking to transition out of public accounting. This position is responsible for managing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial activities. The Accountant will assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance oversight, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting, with key attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

  • Oversee month-end close, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including transaction processing, cash flow monitoring, vendor payments, and customer billing/collections.
  • Perform financial analysis, investigate variances, and prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Partner cross-functionally to enhance financial processes, maintain data integrity, and support operations across multiple locations.

Required Experience/Skills for the Accountant:

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and/or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accountant:

  • Experience supporting multiple entities or locations.
  • Background in operational or facility-based accounting.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Candidates coming out of public accounting environments are highly encouraged to apply.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
