Our client, a large retail company, is looking to add an Office Assistant to their team. This opportunity is a temporary engagement estimated to last one month. This is a great opportunity for an Office Assistant looking to gain administrative and logistics experience in a globally recognized company. Salary/Hourly Rate:
$18/hr – $21/hr
Position Overview:
A well-established retail brand is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support operations at their Miami-based warranty center. The Office Assistant will play a key role in processing incoming shipments, preparing products for service, and assisting with administrative and customer service tasks. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment and is comfortable working around shipping and receiving operations. A customer-focused mindset, strong organizational skills, and reliability are essential for success in this role. Ideally, we are looking for someone with strong attention to detail to assist specifically with watch straps and updating files, a repetitive but important function requiring accuracy and consistency.
Responsibilities of the Office Assistant:
- Assist with detailed handling and organization of watch straps, ensuring all items are accurately received, sorted, and prepared for internal processing.
- Support the maintenance of a highly repetitive tracking file, requiring strong attention to detail and consistency in data entry and updates.
- Cross-check physical inventory of watch straps against internal records to ensure accuracy and quickly identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide general support to the warranty center team, including basic administrative tasks related to intake, documentation, and workflow organization.
Required Experience/Skills for the Office Assistant:
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, shipping/receiving, or customer service role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle products carefully.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Office Assistant:
- Experience in a warranty center, logistics, or repair service operation.
- Prior work in a role similar to USPS or other package-handling environments.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
