Our client is a mid-sized personal care company that values efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail. Their quality team plays a key role in ensuring all products are up to the proper standards before being commercialized. They are currently looking to add a Quality Inspection Specialist to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr – $35/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Quality Inspection Specialist to conduct thorough inspections of finished products, ensuring adherence to established quality and safety criteria prior to release.

Responsibilities of the Quality Inspection Specialist:

• Perform detailed inspections of finished goods, including evaluation of product attributes and packaging integrity.
• Verify accuracy of labeling, fill levels, and lot/expiry code information.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Analyze inspection data to support product release decisions.
• Conduct basic physical and chemical measurements as needed.
• Maintain quality records and assist with quality system documentation.
• Manage sample retention and coordinate sample handling with external manufacturing partners.
• Communicate inspection outcomes to relevant internal and external parties.
• Utilize spreadsheet tools to record and analyze quality metrics.
• Contribute to ongoing quality process improvements.

Required Experience/Skills for the Quality Inspection Specialist:

• At least 2 years of relevant inspection experience in personal care or related industries.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Familiarity with quality management principles and documentation practices.
• Proficient in Excel spreadsheet software for data tracking.
• Ability to work both independently and in coordination with external partners.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt within a team environment. 

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Quality Inspection Specialist:

• Experience with quality management systems.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required.
