Their quality team plays a key role in ensuring all products are up to the proper standards before being commercialized. They are currently looking to add a Quality Inspection Specialist to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr – $35/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Quality Inspection Specialist to conduct thorough inspections of finished products, ensuring adherence to established quality and safety criteria prior to release.
Responsibilities of the Quality Inspection Specialist:
- Perform detailed inspections of finished goods, including evaluation of product attributes and packaging integrity.
- Verify accuracy of labeling, fill levels, and lot/expiry code information.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Analyze inspection data to support product release decisions.
- Conduct basic physical and chemical measurements as needed.
- Maintain quality records and assist with quality system documentation.
- Manage sample retention and coordinate sample handling with external manufacturing partners.
- Communicate inspection outcomes to relevant internal and external parties.
- Utilize spreadsheet tools to record and analyze quality metrics.
- Contribute to ongoing quality process improvements.
Required Experience/Skills for the Quality Inspection Specialist:
- At least 2 years of relevant inspection experience in personal care or related industries.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Familiarity with quality management principles and documentation practices.
- Proficient in Excel spreadsheet software for data tracking.
- Ability to work both independently and in coordination with external partners.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt within a team environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Quality Inspection Specialist:
- Experience with quality management systems.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required.
