Salary/Hourly Rate:

$40/hr (Temp-to-Perm)
$80k Annually (Direct Hire)

Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. You will work heavily within NetSuite and collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams in a high-growth AI environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in structured accounting processes but enjoys the energy and evolution of a scaling SaaS or tech company.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Support full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Maintain and update financial records using NetSuite.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support revenue recognition and SaaS/eCommerce transaction tracking.
• Prepare financial reports and support audit requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Ops, and Leadership).
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Help streamline and improve accounting processes in a scaling environment.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

• 3+ years of accounting experience. 
• Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite (required).
• Experience in SaaS, eCommerce, or tech environments.
• Solid understanding of month-end close processes.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Accountant:

• Experience working in an AI or tech-driven company (strong plus).
• Exposure to revenue recognition in SaaS environments.
• Prior experience in both public and private accounting.
• CPA or CPA track is preferred but not required.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
