Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with a strong background in the nonprofit sector to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40/hr
Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to two key leaders, helping them manage their time, communications, and priorities efficiently. The Executive Assistant will coordinate schedules, handle correspondence, and organize meetings, often acting as a key point of contact between executives and internal or external stakeholders. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for anticipating the needs of leadership to ensure smooth daily operations. This role is essential to enabling executive effectiveness and maintaining organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience within the nonprofit sector, particularly in the education space, and will be comfortable supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings with board members, donors, and internal teams, prioritizing mission-critical activities.
- Coordinate logistics for board meetings and donor engagements, including preparing materials and handling follow-up activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents related to fundraising performance, programs, and organizational initiatives.
- Provide support for special projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and advancement of organizational goals.
Required Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience.
- Prior experience in the nonprofit sector is required.
- Proven track record of managing complex executive workflows and multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Executive Assistant:
- Experience working with board members, investors, and senior-level clients.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
