Client Overview:

Our client is a family-owned business that specializes in insulation. They uphold rigorous quality control standards and are dedicated to the prompt, efficient delivery of high-quality materials and exceptional customer service. They are currently looking to add an Outside Sales Coordinator to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$70k – $75k

Position Overview:

The Outside Sales Coordinator will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships within the assigned territory. This role involves executing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert guidance on material application systems and related products. The position requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company objectives. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities of the Outside Sales Coordinator:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory.
  • Research and identify potential customers to expand market reach and gather insights on their needs.
  • Identify and qualify new growth opportunities, including new products, accounts, and market segments.
  • Execute detailed sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed company goals for volume, margin, and market share.
  • Conduct telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Manage assigned customers’ product pricing and resolve customer complaints as needed.
  • Stay current on product knowledge, technical services, market conditions, and competitive activities.
  • Participate in mandatory semi-annual physical inventory counts and annual offsite sales meetings.

Required Experience/Skills for the Outside Sales Coordinator:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Outside Sales Coordinator:

  • Knowledge of commercial and industrial insulation systems and products.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Professional demeanor with a results-driven mindset.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in sales or a related field will be considered.
