They are currently looking to add a Workday Payroll Configuration & Reporting Specialist to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$110/hr – $115/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Workday Payroll Configuration & Reporting Specialist to lead/configure Workday Payroll for the U.S. and Canada, support payroll processing activities, and build/maintain reporting and dashboards. This person will partner cross-functionally with Payroll, HR, Finance, and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions, ensure compliance, and drive ongoing process improvements.
Responsibilities of the Workday Payroll Configuration & Reporting Specialist:
- Configure Workday Payroll for the U.S. and Canada.
- Support payroll processing, validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Support payroll compliance, audits, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, and technical teams to deliver projects successfully.
- Provide configuration support, documentation, and knowledge transfer as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Workday Payroll Configuration & Reporting Specialist:
- 10+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience.
- Experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian payroll processes.
- Strong Workday reporting expertise (including calculated fields) and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, depending on the position.
