Our client, an expanding healthcare resources organization located in Somerset County, NJ, is seeking an Accounting and Payroll Manager to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100k – $120k
Position Overview:
The Accounting and Payroll Manager will be responsible for the full-cycle Payroll, AP, and AR functions for all locations. The Accounting Manager will utilize ADP Workforce Now to process garnishments, process payroll, and administer 401(K) distributions. The Accounting Manager will also manage the AP and AR teams.
Responsibilities of the Accounting and Payroll Manager:
- Full-cycle payroll processing, including garnishments, deductions, payroll tax, and 401(K) administration.
- Maintain banking relationships.
- Set up ACH wire transfers for new vendors.
- Reconcile AP processes, including setting up new vendors.
- Take charge of cash applications.
- Manage a team of 3.
- Collaborate with the Controller to complete the month, quarter, and year-end close.
- Code journal entries to the general ledger.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting and Payroll Manager:
- 5+ years of Payroll, AP, and AR experience.
- 2+ years managing a team.
- ADP Workforce Now experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounting and Payroll Manager:
- Process improvement and SOP creation.
- AI and software implementation.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
