Position Overview:

Our client is actively hiring Temporary Support Staff to assist with event responsibilities on an as-needed basis in their San Francisco location. This is a flexible, on-site opportunity for candidates who are ready to jump in with short notice and bring a warm, professional presence. As Temporary Event Staff, you will help maintain day-to-day operations and enhance visitor experiences.

Responsibilities of the Temporary Event Staff:

  • Set up/strike off the event, including taking down and folding fabric backdrops, retracting pop-up stands, folding tablecloths, and setting up and discarding puzzles.
  • Assisting with the visitor experience of the event.
  • Assisting the director with any additional tasks as requested.

Required Experience/Skills for the Temporary Event Staff:

  • 1 – 2 years in a receptionist or administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
  • Dependable and flexible, available for as-needed shifts.
  • Comfortable working on-site and representing the company as part of the Temporary Event team.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Temporary Support Staff:

  • Event coordination or hospitality experience.
  • Friendly, upbeat personality and collaborative mindset.
  • Quick to adapt and take initiative as a member of the Temporary Event staff.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
