Client Overview:

Our client is a patient-focused, small medical practice committed to delivering high-quality care in a friendly, personalized, and efficient office environment. They are currently looking to add a Temporary Receptionist to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$18/hr

Position Overview: 

The Temporary Receptionist will provide front-desk support for a medical office by greeting patients, managing appointments, and handling administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and professional patient experience during a temporary coverage period.

Responsibilities of the Temporary Receptionist: 

  • Greet patients warmly and manage front-desk operations to maintain a professional, welcoming office environment.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments while maintaining an efficient daily workflow.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, addressing patient inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, record keeping, and basic billing support.
  • Verify patient insurance benefits and assist in maintaining smooth office flow through effective multitasking and organization.

Required Experience/Skills for the Temporary Receptionist:

  • Previous experience in a Receptionist, administrative, or customer service role.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with scheduling systems and basic data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and quick to learn new processes.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Temporary Receptionist:

  • Medical office experience is preferred.

Education Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, experience in the medical field a plus.
