Salary/Hourly Rate:
$67/hr – $80/hr
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead an initiative redesigning Firefighter access management and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and delivering key outcomes impacting IT, security, finance, and audit functions.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Lead and coordinate project activities related to Firefighter access redesign and SOX compliance.
- Collaborate with Security, IT, Audit, and Finance teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, and documentation.
- Support testing, training, and rollout activities.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and status reports.
Required Experience/Skills for the Project Manager:
- 3 – 5+ years of project management or coordination experience.
- Understanding of IT, audit, and compliance principles, including SOX controls.
- Familiarity with IT access management and security policies.
- Experience with spreadsheets, project trackers, and reporting tools.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Project Manager:
- Experience with SAP GRC or SAP Firefighter.
- Knowledge of SOX audits and IT control testing.
- Background in privileged access management or user access reviews.
- Certifications such as PMP or CISA (preferred but not mandatory).
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
