Our client is an established organization in Miami with a collaborative Finance team and strong opportunities for professional development, and is seeking an interim/temporary Senior Revenue Accountant to help their team during a critical time of year.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k – $95k Annually DOE
Position Overview:
The Senior Revenue Accountant will be reporting to Accounting leadership. This role supports corporate accounting and revenue operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, revenue recognition, and month-end close activities across multiple entities.
Responsibilities of the Senior Revenue Accountant:
- Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and multi-currency accounting.
- Review revenue recognition and customer contracts for accounting compliance.
- Reconcile AR, unbilled costs, and key balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare invoices, revenue reports, and financial reconciliations.
- Maintain customer, project, and contract data within ERP systems.
- Assist with process improvements, system implementations, and audit support.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve billing and revenue-related matters.
- Complete additional accounting projects as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Revenue Accountant:
- 3 – 5+ years of accounting experience within a large corporate or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and month-end close.
- Experience supporting audits and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- ERP experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Revenue Accountant:
- CPA certification or active pursuit.
- Experience with Workday Financials or a comparable ERP platform.
- Experience with Workday or similar is preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
