Client Overview:

A respected, mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Administrative Assistant to support its Executive Leadership Team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an administrative professional looking to grow into an Executive Assistant role while contributing to an organization dedicated to serving the community.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$27/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

The Senior Administrative Assistant will serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership by managing complex administrative responsibilities, coordinating executive operations, and supporting organization-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to continue growing into an Executive Assistant position and is passionate about supporting a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities of the Senior Administrative Assistant:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to executive leadership.
  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, and scheduling priorities.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, briefing materials, and executive correspondence.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Screen communications and serve as a liaison between executives and internal/external partners.
  • Process expense reports, invoices, and budget-related documentation.
  • Track projects, deadlines, and organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential records and sensitive information.
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings and assist with strategic projects.
  • Support executive office operations and additional administrative initiatives as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Administrative Assistant:

  • 3–5+ years of executive or senior administrative support experience.
  • Strong calendar management and executive scheduling experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and project coordination abilities.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Advanced Microsoft Outlook and Teams proficiency.
  • Strong Microsoft Word skills with intermediate Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional follow-up and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Administrative Assistant:

  • Previous nonprofit or mission-driven organization experience.
  • Experience supporting C-suite executives or senior leadership.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Asana.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, SignNow, and related office technologies.
  • Passion for community engagement and nonprofit work.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
