Our client is a globally recognized leader in the beauty and fragrance industry, known for bringing iconic brands to consumers around the world. With a strong commitment to innovation, creativity, and consumer insights, the organization develops and markets a diverse portfolio of premium products while setting trends across the global marketplace. Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing Consultant to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$55/hr

Position Overview: 

The Marketing Consultant will support strategic marketing initiatives during a 12-week engagement. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with a passion for beauty, fragrance, and consumer insights who enjoys translating market intelligence into actionable business strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze industry trends, evaluate competitive activity, and develop polished, client-facing reports and presentations that support key business decisions.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Consultant: 

  • Monitor and analyze global beauty and fragrance industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities through research and competitive analysis.
  • Develop executive and client-facing presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations using sales data and consumer insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and business stakeholders to support key initiatives.
  • Translate complex market data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Support special marketing projects and additional initiatives as needed.
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience/Skills for the Marketing Consultant:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, luxury, or consumer products industries.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty and fragrance marketplace, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience creating executive-level presentations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to independently drive projects from concept through completion.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a “no task too big or too small” attitude.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Marketing Consultant:

  • Experience in consumer insights, category management, market research, or competitive intelligence.
  • Familiarity with graphic design or creative presentation tools is a plus.

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
