Client Overview:

Our client is a nonprofit based in NYC looking to add an IT Support Specialist to their team. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support for executive leadership and ensuring the seamless operation of technology throughout the office.

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$25/hr – $30/hr Depending on experience 

Position Overview:  

This IT Support Specialist role focuses on preparing and supporting high-profile presentations, executive meetings, and international virtual conferences while maintaining reliable office technology and connectivity. The position proactively manages meeting room technology, wireless network availability, and executive IT support to ensure a professional, efficient, and uninterrupted user experience for both local and visiting leaders from around the world.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist: 

  • Work with executives to make sure tech is set up for large-scale presentations. 
  • Make sure Wi-Fi is available and always working for everyone in the office.
  • Check the iPad for meeting rooms and make sure they are functional. 
  • Help executives with IT issues, including numerous executives needing support coming in from other countries 
  • Prepare virtual meetings from different countries to support high-level executives. 

Required Experience/Skills for the IT Support Specialist: 

  • Help desk and desktop support experience.
  • Experience supporting C-level executives and other leadership with day-to-day IT needs.
  • Experience preparing and managing virtual meetings with participants from multiple countries.
  • Experience ensuring technology is set up for large-scale presentations.
  • Experience managing conference room technology, including iPads and meeting room equipment.
  • Experience ensuring office Wi-Fi and meeting room technology are consistently operational.

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
