Our client is a leading global retail and apparel organization seeking a detail-oriented Apparel Quality & Data Analyst to support their product quality and quality assurance initiatives. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment with exposure to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Â
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr – $40/hr Â
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Apparel Quality & Data Analyst to support product quality initiatives through data collection, reporting, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration. This individual will analyze customer feedback, return data, vendor performance, and product quality metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights. The role will also support reporting, departmental operations, and communication across internal teams and external partners. Â
Responsibilities of the Apparel Quality & Data Analyst:
- Collect and aggregate product quality data across multiple platforms and sources.
- Analyze customer reviews, returns, and feedback to identify product quality trends.
- Build and maintain reports tracking quality metrics, vendor performance, and product history.
- Help improve how quality data is captured, analyzed, visualized, and presented.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and senior leadership.
- Support departmental processes including budget tracking, invoicing, chargebacks, vendor documentation, and factory approvals.
- Review and organize incoming reports and documentation.
- Schedule meetings, capture team recaps, and provide general administrative support as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Apparel Quality & Data Analyst:
- 2 – 5 years of related professional experience.
- Previous experience within a fast-paced retail environment.
- Experience working with data analysis, reporting, and/or quality metrics.
- Strong ability to analyze information and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable working 2 – 3 days per week onsite in New York City.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Apparel Quality & Data Analyst:
- Experience within apparel, fashion, consumer products, or product quality.
- Experience analyzing customer feedback, product returns, or vendor performance.
- Exposure to quality assurance or product quality operations.
- Experience creating reports or presenting data and insights to leadership.
- Experience working cross-functionally with vendors and internal business teams.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
