Our client is seeking a Freelance QA and Data Analyst to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr – $40/hr
Position Overview:
The Freelance QA and Data Analyst will support product quality strategy through data collection, analytics, reporting, and quality assurance. This role will serve as a central resource for gathering and analyzing customer sentiment, product performance metrics, vendor data, and quality information across multiple platforms.
The Freelance QA and Data Analyst will transform unstructured feedback and complex data into meaningful insights that support business decisions and product quality initiatives. This position will work cross-functionally and communicate findings to internal teams and senior leadership.
Responsibilities of the Freelance QA and Data Analyst:
- Serve as the central hub for collecting data across internal and external platforms.
- Mine customer reviews, return data, and direct customer comments for actionable quality insights.
- Aggregate and analyze product quality and customer satisfaction data.
- Design, build, and maintain reports tracking quality metrics, vendor performance, and product history.
- Develop innovative approaches to capture, visualize, and communicate product quality data.
- Present synthesized insights and quality narratives to senior leadership.
- Serve as a key liaison between external partners, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership.
- Manage departmental processes including budget tracking, invoicing, chargebacks, vendor manuals, factory approvals, and business continuity records.
- Review, organize, and maintain incoming reports and departmental documentation.
- Schedule key meetings and maintain accurate team recaps and administrative records.
- Identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting, and quality processes.
Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance QA and Data Analyst:
- 2–5 years of related professional experience in quality assurance, data analytics, reporting, or a related field.
- Previous fast-paced retail industry experience is required.
- Experience collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and reporting data from multiple sources.
- Strong ability to translate customer feedback and complex data into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present synthesized information to senior leadership.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, and resilient in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Freelance QA and Data Analyst:
- Experience supporting product quality, apparel, merchandising, or vendor operations.
- Experience analyzing customer reviews, returns, product performance, or quality metrics.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, data visualizations, or executive-level reporting.
- Experience working with multiple internal and external data platforms.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including budget tracking, invoicing, and documentation.
- Experience communicating with senior executives, vendors, and cross-functional business teams.
- Ability to identify process improvements and develop more efficient reporting solutions.
Education Requirements:
- Relevant education in Data Analytics, Quality Assurance, Business, Retail, or a related field is preferred.
