Client Overview:

Our client is a growing, privately held advanced technology and manufacturing corporation specializing in high-frequency electronic components and signal processing solutions. With a robust global footprint, modern design and production facilities across multiple continents, and a stable workforce, the organization supports a collaborative, family-oriented culture known for long-standing employee tenure and rigorous quality standards. They are currently looking to add an HR Generalist (Bilingual) to their team.  

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70k – $85k Annually  

Position Overview:

The HR Generalist (Bilingual) is responsible for supporting the HR Business Partner in performing professional-level human resources functions, local recruiting, employee engagement, project management, and daily administration.  

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist (Bilingual):

  • Manage local recruitment and hiring efforts for hourly production, warehousing, testing, and general labor employees, including sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Support pre-hire processes including applicant tracking, background checks, drug screens, and offer letter administration.
  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding activities, including workspace setup and orientation administration.
  • Process and maintain Form I-9 documentation and assist with employee separation activities.
  • Coordinate employee leaves, including FMLA, PFL, STD, and LTD, in partnership with the benefits administrator.
  • Perform HRIS data entry, maintain time records, and provide payroll support as needed.
  • Prepare employment verification letters and manage unemployment insurance and Department of Labor responses.
  • Assist with employee relations investigations, workers’ compensation claims, and disability-related matters.
  • Initiate employee life-event forms and coordinate care packages for employees on medical leave.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries and assist with employee engagement activities, recognition programs, site events, and company swag.
  • Complete assigned HR projects and perform other related duties as needed.

Required Experience/Skills for the HR Generalist (Bilingual):

  • 2 to 4 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to support the local employee population.
  • Minimum of 2 years of benefits compliance and administration experience.
  • Experience recruiting for local, hourly, or production-level positions.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, preferably Paycom and Jobvite, and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience handling unemployment insurance matters and working knowledge of Florida state and federal labor laws.
  • Ability to independently research topics, analyze HR reports, and recommend solutions.
  • Proven ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the HR Generalist (Bilingual):

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement and implementation of HR best practices.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
